Kazunade Umezuka enters Shizugaoka Gakuen, a school renowned for its track and field program. After encountering difficulties with the team, she joins the brass band club instead. Initially confused by the club's strict and unconventional training methods, she gradually discovers the joy of making music. Meanwhile, Mutsumi Shinozaki, another trumpet player, remains distant from the other members, despite her strong musical abilities.
