Ignat no Hanayome

Rita is a boy who feels out of place in his village, and he is chosen as the "Dragon's Bride" according to a local tradition. Although the legend of the "Snowy Mountain Dragon" has long been regarded as just a myth, Rita agrees to go through with the ritual, believing it to be a way to ease the village's hardships. When he is left alone in a blizzard, he is saved by Ignat, a dragon who appears in human form. Rita is overjoyed to discover that dragons are real and that he has a purpose, but Ignat refuses to accept him as a bride. Despite this rejection, Rita remains determined and starts to uncover the process that allows humans to become dragons.
