Ignat no Hanayome

Rita, a boy who feels disconnected from his village, is selected as the "Dragon's Bride" according to a local tradition. Though the tale of the "Snowy Mountain Dragon" is now just a legend, Rita agrees to the ritual, understanding it as a way to ease the village's burden. Left alone in a blizzard, he is rescued by Ignat, a dragon who appears in human form. Rita is overjoyed to discover that dragons are real and that he has a purpose, but Ignat refuses to accept him as a bride. Despite this rejection, Rita remains determined and begins to uncover the process that allows humans to become dragons.
