Inochi no Tabekata

Tobi Otogiri is a middle school student who rarely spends time with his classmates, preferring to talk to Baku, a mysterious backpack he received on the day he last saw his older brother. When a classmate named Ryuuko mentions Baku, Tobi's private conversations are no longer a secret. Strange events begin occurring at school, and Tobi and Ryuuko suspect that a creature visible only to them is responsible. As their experiences blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy, they encounter both human and nonhuman elements, and the story delves into the theme of life consuming life.
