In the past, Mihoshi, battles against Ryoko. Mihoshi pauses her attack when she realizes that Tenchi and Momo are in her line of fire and Ryoko takes her down with her blasts. Suddenly, both are sucked into one of the tears of space-time that brought Beni and Momo down (This is never spoken of again). In gratitude for Momo protecting them, Inukai, Sasa, and Tamaomi agree to help her and Tenchi in their search.
