Upon arriving at another village, Shippo falls in love with a young girl named Satsuki, who believes her deceased older brother will return to her someday, as she shows that she possesses a shard of the Shikon Jewel, unbeknownst that it is actually a quartz fragment. The next morning, Satsuki's brother has incredibly returned back to her, but Shippo notices that he is really a lizard demon. Shippo lets Satsuki escape, while he faces off against and easily defeats the lizard demon. (Source: Wikipedia)
