Ao no Miburo

In 1863, during the final years of the shogunate, Japan faces intense political conflict. The capital is marked by violence as ronin and government samurai clash. Nio, an orphan, holds a strong sense of justice and a wish to improve the world. He meets Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Souji, key members of the Miburo, a group of ronin later called the Shinsengumi. Moved by their actions, Nio joins them to help shape the future he envisions. As challenges and betrayals arise, he must remain faithful to his beliefs.
