Gegege no Kitarou (2007)

A retelling of the Gegege no Kitaro story follows the character as he resides in the Gegege Forest/Cemetery, a place inhabited by various Yokai. Living alongside him are his mostly dead father, whose only living feature is his eye, as well as Sunakake Babaa, NekoMusume, and Konaki Jiji. This version of Kitaro differs slightly from previous portrayals due to his brown hair, a departure from the typical grayish silver color. The narrative remains consistent with the established series.
