A man from the modern era is reborn into a fantasy world he recognizes from a game, taking the identity of Werner, a noble’s son. He is not the hero or the antagonist, but a minor character expected to die in a major battle. Seeking the hero’s company, Werner lacks the abilities to become a hero himself. To avoid his fate, he uses his noble status and knowledge of the game to support the hero and protect against threats.
