In a world where humans and robots live together, the powerful Swiss robot Mont Blanc is destroyed, and a leader from a robot rights organization is killed. The cases initially seem unrelated, but both victims are found arranged in a strange, artistic manner with makeshift horns near their heads. Interpol sends Gesicht, a robot detective, to investigate the unusual and complicated case. He later learns that he is also a target, being one of the seven major robots in the world.
