UFO Robo Grendizer

A manga adaptation of an anime series, it features Duke Fleed, a prince from a destroyed planet who, under the alias Daisuke, battles the Vegan Empire responsible for his planet's destruction. He uses Grendizer, a robot he stole from them. Though not initially part of the Mazinger series, it includes Koji Kabuto and his Mazinger mechas, linking it to that franchise. The manga introduced a transformable robot and a space mecha, influencing later mecha series. It gained popularity in Japan, Canada, France, Italy, and the Arab World, maintaining a dedicated fanbase in those regions.
