Yoshimi Itazu

[Twitter](https://twitter.com/jokerendcard) Itazu joined [Studio Gallop](https://anilist.co/studio/36/) in 1998 at the young age of 18. Five years later he started a collaboration with studio [Madhouse](https://anilist.co/studio/11/). Here he was involved in the production of the TV series [Paranoia Agent](https://anilist.co/anime/323/), which put him in touch with director [Satoshi Kon](https://anilist.co/staff/99580/). After his outstanding performance in the series [Dennou Coil](https://anilist.co/anime/2164/) as a chief animation director, Kon invited him aboard the production of [The Dream Machine](https://anilist.co/anime/6585/) as character designer and chief animation director, but the project was sadly suspended when Kon passed away in 2010. Itazu eventually got to make his debut as a character designer on [Miss Hokusai](https://anilist.co/anime/20709/).
