In an internet cafe she goes online to investigate further and ends up chatting with Yulong, a confederate of Dr. Hebinuma the hermaphrodite. She also realizes that it's always summer in Kowloon. While the rest of asia was going through winter, she spent a hot, steamy summer in Kowloon. While she is gone investigating, Reiko and Hajime rekindle their romance.
