Yaomay goes to Hong Kong and investigates the second walled city of Kowloon. She discovered that everyone believes that the second walled city of Kowloon was razed three years ago, and that it still exists is an urban legend. In an internet cafe she goes online to investigate further and ends up chatting with Yulong, a confederate of Dr. Hebinuma the hermaphrodite. She also realizes that it's always summer in Kowloon. While the rest of asia was going through winter, she spent a hot, steamy summer in Kowloon. While she is gone investigating, Reiko and Hajime rekindle their romance.
