Ep. 8: Yoshiakis TV-Trick zielt auf das Lacuna-Labor, während Soumas Zustand sich verschlechtert

A magnificent magical performance on live television by Yoshiaki is monitored by Yuki, Geek, and Takuya. For his final trick, he proclaims to the audience that he'll make an entire building disappear. The building that's chosen from a magical random draw, is the Lacuna Chemical Laboratory. At Eiji's home, as Kikyou and Eiji oversee the comatose Souma. A flashback then reveals that Takuya plans to hunt the principal of the Light of Hope Academy. To Takuya's disapproval, Yuki plans on helping too. Back in the present, the disappearance performance is set into motion. Camera crews and news reporters surround the factory, while Takuya, Geek, and Yuki infiltrate the building with a fake i.d. card. Geek uses his Livestream account to stream the already in progress infiltration. To complement the Livestream, Yoshiaki reveals how he lost his family at a young age causing him and his older brother to be sent to the Light of Hope Academy. Amid all of this, Tsuki notes her disdain over the tactics done to reveal the company secrets and Souma's Tama-shi starts to reawaken. Just as Takuya and group confront the Principal to the Light of Hope Academy, they're attacked by cloaked figures that cause the Livestream to be cut short. However, the cloaked figures are dealt with and the news about the Lacuna Chemical Laboratory has gone viral. Furthermore, evidence corroborating the flagitious claims from Yoshiaki and Geek's Livestream. Because of all of this, Taiyou is arrested and Takuya's group return to Eiji's as Souma's condition has gone unstable. Souma's instability causes his Tama-shi to overwhelm and transform into a grotesque monster. That not being all, the effects of this condition will cause him to create another Lost Incident, one bigger than the last. Yuki resolves herself to stop Souma and is brought to close proximity to his location by Takuya. Using her Tama-shi, Yuki flies to Souma's location and breaks through Souma's defenses with the help of Akira. She manages to get up close to him and after the two embraces one another, Souma explodes leaving Yuki devastated. (Source: Wikipedia)
