Ep. 7: Takuya untersucht die Light of Hope Academy, während er vergangene Reue und Verbindungen zu Lacuna Chemical aufdeckt.

A flashback showing Takuya and Geek involved in an incident at a cabaret bar. They're helped by a man who would later become Takuya's superior in the police force. In the present, Takuya, Yoshiaki, Yuuji, and Keigo head to the Light of Hope Academy. While they head there, they talk about how it's connected to the Lacuna Chemical factory. Back at Eiji's house, Geek is approached by Kikyou who inquires about the ditch he's digging. She then reports to Eiji about the abnormal gravitational waves that were being picked up. Inside the house, Yuki oversees the comatose Souma and is soon brought a cup of coffee by Yumiko. They then talk about how Takuya and her were once partners in a detective agency, that is until the Lost incident occurred. She goes onto explain their time together in the agency. Meanwhile, Takuya, Yoshiaki, and Keigo reach the Light of Hope Academy and after hearing a loud high pitch sound, they're sucked into a time rift. The group is then approached by a bunch of kids all of whom Takuya is familiar with and soon the head caretaker Hinako appears. Yumiko reveals that Takuya was working there as a double agent to investigate the child-abuse allegations that surrounded the place. Returning to Takuya's group, Keigo asks how they can get out of the time rift, and Takuya details only if they dispel the regret surrounding the place. The source of the regret is Takuya himself. As dusk starts to settle, Kikyou asks Geek about whether he knows what the Japanese anemone symbolizes. He answers no, and Kikyou details that its patience. It's shown that Hinako had regretful feelings for her position as caretaker and that Takuya may be affecting her for the worst. Eventually, the children in the school were invited to attend a circus show, however, Takuya refuses to go. Furthermore, the timing of this event is aligned with the Lost incident and it's also learned that he's submitting his resignation to the place as well. The Takuya from the present then tries to stop Hinako, but she resolves herself to tell the kids the truth about the school when they return from the circus. Just then the time riff dissolves and they all return back to the real world. Yumiko reveals that after the Lost incident, he quit the agency. From a birdhouse in the back yard of the school, finds a finance log by Hinako that had inscribed many deposits from the Lacuna Chemical Laboratory. Once Takuya returns to Eiji's home, he learns that the Principal of the Academy isn't dead, but maybe alive instead. (Source: Wikipedia)
