Hajime Shinonome grew up in the slums and sought strength to survive. He now lives a relaxed life as an adventurer in Komai Village. During a routine quest, he enters a dungeon and discovers a girl named Lirui being attacked by a slime. Her parents had abandoned her, forcing her to enter the dungeon alone to survive. Hajime decides to take her in and bring her back to the village.
