Before the semi-finals, Ichigo, Aoi, and Ran hold a sleepover in Ichigo's room. They read Mizuki's new magazine, Love Queen, created for top idols, and follow its advice for individual training. Naoto guides Ichigo to focus on acting rather than thinking. Ichigo advances to the final alone, while Aoi and Ran continue to support her. Mizuki reveals she uses the Cup to find a worthy partner and urges Ichigo to give her all. Ichigo finishes in second place. That night, Mizuki hints that the gap between them might be smaller than Ichigo believes.
