With Mother's Day near, a student pair audition for a Masquerade song begins. Aoi enforces a retro training style, but the dance teacher remains unimpressed. On the holiday, Ichigo and Raichi assist Ringo at home. While watching Ringo cook, Ichigo seeks advice on her training struggles. Ringo takes Ichigo to their childhood stage and the site of her first meeting with Taichi. After helping Ichigo practice, Ringo gifts her the Starlight Tiara accessory card. Ichigo wears the tiara during the audition alongside Aoi, and their performance succeeds, securing a win for the pair.
