Miki brings Yuzu to her residence, where she observes her parents hosting a gathering with relatives. Witnessing their indifference, she concludes that her family does not miss her and that Yuzu is not a necessary replacement. She contacts Kippei to inform him of Yuzu's location. Upon arrival, Kippei successfully convinces Miki to abandon her plan to commit suicide. Subsequently, Miki's parents retrieve her and take her back home.
