Ep. 23: Kippei prepares lunches for Yuzu and Kokoro while Marika writes a letter to Yuzu.

Kippei prepares two bento boxes, one for Yuzu and another for Kokoro, who exchanges her lunch for his effort. During their meal, Kokoro’s father calls to request she retrieve her belongings from the house, a detail she keeps secret. At preschool, the children are assigned to write letters to important individuals. Marika chooses to write to Yuzu, while Yuzu writes to Kippei. Although Yuzu offers to change her recipient, Marika insists she keep it as is and reaffirms their friendship. Later, at her apartment, Kokoro tells Kippei that she does not wish to grow any closer to him.
