The Daimaō, frustrated by Sorges' failures, tasks Professor Hawking with a scheme to defeat Chacha. A large egg is placed on the path to school, which Chacha and her friends discover. She takes it home, where Franken-chan hatches and imprints on her as his mother. Chacha raises him and brings him to school, but Professor Hawking triggers a transformation, turning Franken-chan into a monster that attacks students. Riiya's grandfather arrives to assist but proves no match for the creature's strength. Chacha becomes the Magical Princess but hesitates to attack until Seravy explains that only a mother's love can save him. Following the conflict, Riiya's grandfather invites Franken-chan to join him as a lumberjack.
