Ep. 12: Orin develops feelings for Shiine while a cursed blade threatens her grandfather and friends
Orin falls from the ceiling onto Shiine during class and becomes infatuated, though she cannot identify her emotions. Meanwhile, Sorges intends to use the cursed blade Kōtetsu to defeat Chacha. Orin visits Chacha’s home for dinner after navigating ninja traps. The next day, Orin’s grandfather receives Kōtetsu and is possessed by its evil aura, attempting to destroy Chacha despite his weak back. When he collapses, Orin misinterprets the situation and summons a giant toad to finish the job. The group flees to the school, pursued by the grandfather and the toad. Seravy tricks the grandfather into dropping the sword, freeing him, but the blade possesses the toad instead. Chacha and her friends unleash the Magical Princess Holy Up power to defeat the possessed toad and the sword.
