Otonashi and Kanade choose Yui as their first subject to help, uncovering her paralysis and a list of desires. They facilitate a German suplex, a soccer goal against five opponents, and a home run attempt. Yui completes the first two activities but abandons the home run after a few days, though she enjoys the experiences. Her final wish involves marriage, which Hinata fulfills by proposing despite her condition, citing their fortunate connection. With her wishes granted, Yui disappears, and Hinata joins Otonashi in helping others move on. Meanwhile, Noda and Ouyama are attacked by a mysterious entity that Yusa identifies as a shadow.
