This episode follows Reiji Shiratori on his first day back at True Cross Academy following a recent incident. Although Reiji has no memory of the event, others claim his personality has changed. He admires the school's historic architecture and refined student body while walking through the campus. During his stroll, he passes exorcists and collides with Rin Okumura. Rin reprimands Reiji for his carelessness, prompting an apology. Reiji recalls Rin partially, and Rin asks about his recovery. Reiji confirms he is fine, and Rin warns him not to cause trouble for others before leaving. Reiji is surprised by Rin's rude demeanor. As he struggles to remember who Rin is, he eventually recognizes him, only to be possessed by Astaroth once again.
