Yukio attempts to shoot a demon that transforms into a cockroach on his sleeve, but it escapes and ignites his clothing. After extinguishing the fire, he devises a new strategy using a Chinese manjuu as bait. The demon flies toward the food, allowing Yukio to shoot through it and kill the target. He notes that while the demon can bypass barriers and bullets, it cannot resist food. However, his manjuu is immediately stolen by another cockroach demon, revealing a large group behind him. Recalling that finding one cockroach implies over thirty are present, Yukio heads to a convenience store in frustration and purchases all the available manjuu.
