Fumi Manjoume starts her high school journey at Matsuoka Girl's High School after her family relocates to Kamakura. During her elementary school years, her closest friend was Akira Okudaira, who is now attending the prestigious Fujigaya Girls Academy. There, Akira meets a classmate named Kyouko Ikumi. On the first day of school, Fumi and Akira cross paths during their commutes but fail to recognize each other immediately. The reunion only occurs later when Fumi and her mother visit the Okudaira residence. Additionally, Fumi learns that her cousin Chizu is getting married, a revelation that deeply shocks her due to her romantic feelings for Chizu.
