Sinbad and a companion reach an abandoned village where the water has vanished. They uncover crude oil while digging, and Ali Baba’s persistence releases an Oil Genie who admits to draining the oasis for rest. The Genie threatens to turn them into coal unless they fix the problem. Sinbad ignites the oil to distract the entity, but the Genie traps them. The resulting heat generates a sandstorm that extinguishes the fire and buries the Genie. With the Genie’s power broken, the water returns to the oasis, restoring the settlement.
