Sinbad’s party is detained by an African kingdom’s soldiers as spies, stemming from an Arab attack a hundred years prior that enslaved many locals. The king plans to execute the captives and assault Baghdad. Sinbad negotiates for mercy by offering a peace guarantee from Baghdad’s ruler. Ali Baba is tasked with retrieving the peace letter within ten days, while he and Sinbad serve as hostages. During the journey, Ali Baba and Shera face numerous challenges but receive aid from the River Genie, a group of robbers familiar with Ali Baba, and Rockle along with his father. They successfully complete the mission. The king, moved by their sincerity, frees the captives and provides diamonds as a gift for the king of Baghdad.
