An Amazoness arrives at the riverbank and enrolls as one of Kou's students, openly admitting her romantic feelings for him. She orders her Tengu subordinates to hypnotize Kou, altering his attraction so he agrees to marry her. Nino enters a rivalry with the Amazoness to demonstrate her superior devotion to Kou. Although Kou is deeply under the spell, Hoshi chooses to intervene and halt the hypnosis. Ultimately, Kou's genuine emotions allow him to break free from the mental control, resolving the conflict caused by the Amazoness's schemes.
