During the Arakawa residents' Bon Festival, Hoshi and the Amazoness team up to separate Kou and Nino. The plan fails as Amazoness falls for Hoshi but cannot confess directly. Instead, she constructs a beach shack upstream and stages a rescue scenario. She arranges for Hoshi to save her, using the opportunity to give him a good luck charm. This elaborate scheme allows her to express her affection indirectly without the vulnerability of a direct confession, leaving the outcome of her romantic intentions uncertain.
