Amidst a summer heatwave, Akari waits for Alice near Piazza San Marco while Aika recounts a Manhome ghost story about a Venetian woman executed and denied burial at Isola di San Michele. That evening, a lady in black requests a ride to Neo-Venezia’s replica of the cemetery, which Akari accepts. As they cross the bay, dozens of cats watch from rooftops. Upon arrival, the lady drags Akari into the cemetery, claiming she wishes to keep her friend forever. Her veil falls, revealing an empty dress, and Cait Sith appears behind it. The dress flees, and Cait Sith embraces Akari before she wakes at Aria Company holding a rose petal. Alice reveals the story was invented on Aqua, heightening the fear.
