Alice notices Athena’s unusual clumsiness and attributes it to happiness over Alice’s social interactions. Although Akari urges her to accept a party invitation, Alice declines, believing other Pairs envy her talent as a younger undine. Athena explains that others act like mirrors, reflecting Alice’s own fear of rejection rather than genuine jealousy. After witnessing Maa’s determined effort to reach President Aria’s belly, Alice resolves to smile more and attend the gathering.
