Aika and Alice notice Akari greeting many Neo-Venezians during practice, finding it mysterious that an immigrant knows more locals than they do. They secretly follow her on a vaporetto to see how she makes friends easily, watching her chat with passengers. Missing their stop, they backtrack and hear President Aria’s voice, leading them to see Akari enjoying a street puppet performance with a mysterious man. Both girls recall watching this show as children. Alice concludes that Akari’s ability stems from her natural kindness and finding joy in nearly everything, explaining her ease in connecting with others.
