Mary-Anne comes to terms with Francis's attraction to Nadja rather than herself. Francis intends to introduce Nadja to the media safely without endangering Keith. Collette and Albert visit Nadja at the police station, where her determination to clear Francis's name reveals the true nature of the Premingers to Collette. Meanwhile, Harvey and Nadja strategize to thwart Herman's plans. Keith and Francis reconcile after hearing Nadja sing a lullaby, strengthening their bond amidst the unfolding crisis and political intrigue surrounding their families.

Jan 11, 2004Nadja searches for Rosso and Bianco to convince them to betray Herman. Harvey sees Keith beckoning to him, leaving Nadja unattended long enough for her to approach the Colorado mansion. Inside, she sees Bianco and decides to investigate. Meanwhile, Oscar and Collette attempt to persuade Herman to leave with his creditor, Antonio Fabiani, but Herman balks to save face. At the same time, the Black Rose leaves Vienna.
49EP 49Nadja escapes the dungeon with help from Rosso and Bianco to thwart Herman.
Jan 18, 2004While imprisoned alongside Rosso and Bianco, Nadja recalls the Black Rose’s presence and realizes Francis remains incarcerated. Determined to stop Herman’s schemes, she listens to Rosso’s crucial advice and scales the dungeon wall to flee through a skylight. Gunfire pursues her until the Dandelion Troupe intervenes to save her. In the aftermath, Herman is imprisoned with Rosso and Bianco, while Francis is exonerated following Keith’s visit to the Colorado mansion. Rosemary concedes defeat, and Nadja learns that Duke Preminger is focused on a single objective.
50EP 50Nadja reunites with Collette while rejecting Duke Preminger's control to join the Dandelion Troupe.
Jan 25, 2004Rosemary informs Nadja that Duke Preminger acts out of a misguided sense of duty toward the duchy. Meanwhile, Collette arrives at the Preminger residence to retrieve her daughter. After a happy reunion, Collette takes Nadja home, allowing them to finally bond as mother and daughter. Keith and Francis later visit Nadja, attempting to convince her to return to the Preminger estate. Nadja refuses, criticizing the Duke’s past actions and declaring her desire to travel the world as a dancer with the Dandelion Troupe, which has arrived for her. She continues her search for her mother while asserting her independence from the Duke's influence.
