Kyouka questions if Yamada and Kosuda consummated their relationship, while Keiichi plans another proposal. Yamada and Kosuda, aided by their siblings, visit a love hotel on Christmas Eve. A malfunctioning rotating bed injures Kosuda’s ankle, leading Yamada to visit him in a pink nurse outfit. After a misunderstanding involving a real nurse, Kosuda is discharged before New Year’s Eve. With classmates visiting a shrine, Yamada stays behind at Kosuda’s home. Their attempt in the bath fails when Kosuda faints from heat. Finally, they visit another shrine together, where their status as a couple is officially affirmed.
