Kosuda publicly confesses to Yamada after a popularity contest tie, causing shock among Kyouka and Miyano. Yamada feigns anger but is secretly pleased, though she avoids Kosuda until they apologize on the athletic meet committee. Takeshita observes Yamada’s denial of love, while Kyouka remains furious over losing to Yamada again. During the event, Kosuda photographs Yamada, encouraged by Matsuo-senpai. Kyouka’s brother Keiichi arrives, capturing images of the girls’ conflict and showing interest in Yamada, which angers Kyouka. Yamada rejects Keiichi, further upsetting her brother. Eventually, Kosuda convinces Yamada to stop hiding, leading to a date and her return to cheerleading duties.
