After Yuna wakes up healed but refuses to help Minatsuki, Keith searches for Gilbert and Lily. He deduces that Gilbert uses Erika lookalikes in a hidden lab inside the building. Keith and Eric locate a trophy room filled with preserved bodies, including Gilbert's father, the former institute chief executive. Gilbert calls Keith to taunt him, abandoning Lily to escape. He then orders Market Maker to eliminate everyone linked to their police work, but Laica refuses and ends their partnership. Distraught by this loss, Gilbert briefly breaks down before suppressing those emotions to ready himself for a final showdown with Keith.
