Koku demands Yuna's location, leading Keith to realize past messages were intended for her. As a murder suspect, Keith explains the Jaula Blanca Institute, which sought to recreate winged beings from fossils to restore ancient gods. The failed experiments produced malformed individuals used as the Market Maker strike team. Keith decoded a crucial inscription as a child, while his father pursued the institute's original goal. Market Maker eventually destroyed the facility. Yuna attacks Koku, who gains the upper hand until her eyes trigger his memories, revealing her identity. She stabs him, and her memories also return. Despite their mutual recognition, Minatsuki impales them both with a sword.
