Ep. 9: Claire Stanfield Faithfully Carries Out the Mission

Rachel reports train events to the Daily Days director in 1932, while flashbacks reveal Ladd finding Dune’s body in 1931. The older conductor tortures Dune to learn about the Russo and Lemures hijacking, then assumes the Rail Tracer identity after killing Dune. Ladd vows revenge. The director deduces the Rail Tracer was Vino, revealing his true identity as Claire Stanfield, adoptive brother of the Gandor. Rachel confirms Claire contacted the brothers. Upon arriving in New York, Claire tells the Gandor he must find his potential wife after finishing their job. In 1930, Szilard orders Dallas to retrieve the elixir from the Gandor. Dallas kills Gandor members and reclaims it. Meanwhile, on the Pussyfoot, Goose kidnaps Mary to pressure Senator Beriam, and Czeslaw orders Ladd to kill dining car passengers, an act Claire observes from the shadows.
