Dan, Fabia, and Shun traverse a forest filled with carnivorous plants to reach the second shield generator. They encounter Stoica and Jesse, prompting Shun to proceed alone while the others engage the Gundalians. Fabia fights Jesse, driven by a desire for revenge against Jesse and Plitheon. Although Fabia wins, Stoica realizes the distraction is intentional because Dan is not fighting. Aranaut begins to struggle against the two opponents. Dan intervenes, revealing he holds Shun's Hawktor instead of Drago. Stoica and Jesse retreat after their defeat. Shun and Drago arrive near the shield generator as the battle concludes.
