Ep. 23: Sid Wakes From Imprisonment and Ren Chooses His Path Amidst Battle
Sid awakens in Gundalia to discover he, Lena, Jesse, and Zenet were imprisoned rather than killed. After escaping, he observes Ren departing with troops. On Neathia, brawlers await Gundalian forces at sunrise. Drago attacks using a Bakugan Mobile Assault Vehicle but is ambushed by Ren and Linehalt. Dan questions Ren’s loyalty to Barodius, who granted him freedom, contrasting this with the emperor’s darkness and Ren’s past friendship with Marucho. Ren rejects Dan’s pleas to join them, citing the deaths of Sid and others. Rubanoid, commanded by Sid, joins the fight. Dan utilizes a new controllable Assault Vehicle to defeat them. Sid warns Ren about Dharak’s attack, saving him from a cliff edge before handing Rubanoid to Ren and urging him to act. Ren departs silently despite Dan’s protests.
