Following Dan's refusal to sign autographs, Anubias challenges him to a fight, which Dan accepts. In the first round, Drago wins by controlling his powers, but Anubias takes the second round when Drago overfocuses on control rather than the battle. During a final power overload, Dan urges Drago to flee instead of fighting. Anubias exploits this hesitation to strike Drago and win the brawl. Disappointed fans begin leaving the arena. Afterward, Anubias expresses disappointment in Dan's amateurish fighting style but claims to respect him, suggesting that Dan should quit battling if his heart is not in it.
