Editor Oonishi and the vice chief editor change their votes to positive, allowing Ashirogi Muto to proceed with serialization. Mashiro, Takagi, and Miyoshi celebrate with homemade cake from Azuki, discovering a USB containing her Christmas carol. Hattori replaces Mashiro and Takagi’s editor, while Miura becomes the editor for +Natural. Hattori reveals the initial voting results, prompting a brainstorming session to improve the manga. He attributes Niizuma’s success to expressiveness, but Mashiro corrects this to imagination. Inspired, Mashiro decides to draw based solely on Takagi’s script, granting him greater artistic freedom. They begin rewriting the storyboard. Meanwhile, Fukuda informs his editor that he is working on a one-shot, determined not to lose to Niizuma and Ashirogi Muto.
