Mashiro and Takagi struggle to name their new series. Miura suggests a serious dark manga like Money and Intelligence, leading them to create Money, Intelligence and Appearance, which is deemed too deep and rejected. Miura then pushes them to write a mainstream fantasy manga with a simple setting, contrary to their preferences. Although Miyoshi finds the standard battle manga enjoyable and praises the simple setting, it is also rejected. This leaves the duo with one final opportunity to succeed in their manga creation efforts.
