After an elderly man tricks the group into missing their boat, they are forced to spend the night in London. During this time, they receive a mysterious videotape featuring Takao's father. Takao's Beyblade is subsequently stolen, leading the children to be lured into a confrontation with the villain Cenotaph and his powerful Bit Beast, Sarcopholon. Kai arrives to defeat the mummy-like opponent by exploiting his own strengths. Following this victory, the team decides to travel by land, committing to learn from every European Beyblader they encounter along the way.
