The American Tournament finals feature the Bladebreakers competing against the All Starz for a spot in the World Championships. Takao defeats Steve in the first round through determination, giving the Bladebreakers a one to nothing lead in the best of three series. The second round proves difficult as Rei faces Eddy, an NBA aspirant whose rapid basketball-style attacks defeat Rei and tie the score at two a piece. With the series level, Max is selected to battle Michael in the decisive final match.
