Toraji and Tamaki converse while their injuries are treated. Following their severe wounds from a previous match, Kirino of Muroe High and Aoki of Tozyo High compete in a representative kendo bout. The tournament concludes with a loss for Kirino, whose focus wavers as her mother’s recovery reduces her drive. Subsequently, the Muroe High kendo club returns to their regular training at the dojo. Tamaki is confirmed to be in good health, while Sayako is absent from the group during this period.
