Oga Tatsumi, despite his ruthless reputation, finds himself in possession of this powerful demon child, setting the stage for their unusual relationship and future conflicts.

Oga Endures Electric Shocks While Caring for Baby Beel and Seeking a Stronger Parent

Oga is designated as the guardian of Beelzebub, the offspring of the Great Demon Lord. This arrangement causes him significant pain, as the infant emits intense electrical discharges whenever he cries. Hildegarde, the demon maid, warns that if Baby Beel exceeds a distance of 15 meters from Oga, the resulting shock becomes fatal. Consequently, Oga must transport the child on his back to school while searching for an individual more powerful than himself. Upon learning of Kanzaki's terrifying and ruthless reputation, Oga rushes to the third-year classroom with the intention of abandoning Baby Beel in his care. However, upon seeing Kanzaki's menacing appearance, Oga realizes that this encounter might actually present an opportunity he can exploit.

While at the store, they are joined by Hilda and Furuichi, who are pursuing the child.
