Ep. 26: Dr. Mamon transforms into Brahman to attack Betterman while Kankel hunts the remaining Somniums.

Dr. Mamon combines his genetics with Betterman's to become Brahman and targets Hinoki. Betterman defeats Brahman by destroying the linker gel that powers the creature. After the battle, Kankel appears to kill the last Somniums. Seeme is absent, so Betterman suffers a severe injury. Keita tries to use the neuronoid against Kankel but fails and is left for dead in the ocean near Hinoki. Mr. Akamatsu and Sakura cling to life; they share a special bond. Akamatsu attempts to move Miyako's crashed neuronoid to escape the upcoming United Nations bombing. Miyako is alive but will regret her existence upon learning the truth about the Algernon spread. The fate of the characters remains uncertain as Kankel threatens the remnants of humanity.
